I was an 80s kid (just a couple years younger than you, from what I can gather from the videos and such) and the website brings back a flood of memories. To me, North Syracuse as a kid was a magical place I can still return to inside my memories. I never knew I would miss all the landmarks and things I took for granted as a kid. the Yoko Ono exhibition at the Everson Museum ? The crowds so crushing, I got "felt up" from behind, while waiting for the first day opening, and I got close to John Lennon as a group of people were beating on drums together !

- watching the opening ceremonies of the 84 Olympics in Los Angeles with Debby, a friend who worked across the hall at Sterling Optical. Her brother was one of the herald trumpeters at that Olympic opening, and we video-taped the ceremony on one of our store's VCRs for her parents.
